Rafter Cross Sprint: S. Fork Payette, Staircase Rapid
This event has been a HUGE crowd pleaser in years past! The Rafter Cross Race will be structured as it was last year. Staircase rapid on the S. Fork Payette is a class IV sprint. The course’s first 100m is flat water that pours into the second 100m section of class IV rapids. There are multiple lines through the rapid, however last year river right proved the faster line. There is a large turnout on Hwy 21 for spectators and logistics

Rafter Slalom event: N. Fork Payette, at Lower Otter Slide rapid, 3 miles north of Banks, Id.
The Slalom event will be held on the N. Fork Payette, at Lower Otter Slide rapid, 3 miles north of Banks, Id. The course is in a section of slow class II-III rapids. “Juicer” is downriver approximately ˝ mile. There is a large turnout and event area with plenty of parking.

Rafter Downriver Race: S. Fork Payette, Deer Creek Launch
Downriver Rafting venue would be held on the S. Fork Payette, from Deer Creek Launch ramp to Banks, Id. This is a 4.5 mile race with four major class IV rapids (Bronco Billy, Dog Leg, Staircase and Slalom).

IWA Poker Float: Main Payette, from Banks Launch Ramp
IWA Poker Run is created for those that love to be on the water with friends without having to compete against them. The group leaves the Banks launch site and picks poker cards after each drop. Highest hand wins! We are willing to consider a cataraft division is there is adequate interest prior to event.
