Jr. Freestyle Kayak and Boogie Board Event:: Gutter, Horseshoe Bend, Payette River
Created for pre-teen and teen age kids to show their freestyle skills. International standard freestyle rules will be used to score and judge competitors. Boogie boarders will show their stuff exhibition style during freestyle event, with the winner being the crowd favorite. In the future this event will be held in Boise at the whitewater park.

Night Disco Rodeo: Gutter, Horseshoe Bend, Payette River
A spirited family event, designed for kids, teens and parents where you pretty much go crazy in your kayak! As DJ Revolve mixes beats, secret Judges scope the competitors and crowd judging them in several categories. Not everyone is kayaking the best, but anybody can win! So, bring a costume or a trick. If the judges think you are the best, your name is engraved on the prestigious Title belt.

Downriver Marathon Race: S. Fork Payette, Canyon Put-in
A Long Downriver race on the Canyon section of the S. Fork Payette that requires racers a mandatory portage past Big Falls. Racers meeting will be held at 9:00am in the Deadwood Put-In parking lot.

Boater Cross Race: S. Fork Payette, Staircase Rapid, Payette River This event has been a HUGE crowd pleaser in years past! Each race on the S. Fork Payette Staircase rapid consists of 4 boaters. The prelims are seeded by a timed trial run down Staircase the day of competition. Top two competitors advance on to the next round of heats. No boats over 8'6".

Downriver Sprint: S. Fork Payette, Staircase Section
This venue has provided stiff competition in the past. Watch out for the 3 Class IV rapids Bronco Billy, Staircase and Slalom. Refreshments served for each competitor as they get out of their boat.

Giant Slalom: N. Fork Payette, Lower Otter’s Slide
A slalom venue just below the train trussle crossing in warm class II-III water

Extreme Race: N. Fork Payette, Lower 3 miles, Upper Otters Slide Put-In ,
One of the weekend's premier events. The N. Fork Payette Lower 5 is no joke. This race is designed for experts only. If you question your ability to race on this section, don't race. But, if you got what it takes to be a competitor, you had better have a strong forward stroke, solid on-river safety skills and your spirit of racing. Racers released every minute; times are recorded at the bottom in Banks.
